Natural rapeseed wax for scented candles in containers
Our rapeseed wax for container candles has been specially developed for the production of scented and decorative candles. This naturally sourced wax is made from over 90% hydrogenated European rapeseed oil, with less than 3% synthetic wax used solely to improve crystallisation. It combines technical performance with compliance with environmental and safety standards.
The wax is plant-based, GMO-free, mineral paraffin-free and palm oil-free. It is suitable for a „vegan“ declaration and has not been tested on animals. Compliant with European regulations, it offers a reliable and respectful solution for making quality candles.
Cast candles
This natural wax ensures excellent fragrance retention, for even diffusion both hot and cold. Its colour ranges from white to light yellow, making it suitable for both unfinished candles and those requiring custom colouring.
It adheres perfectly to containers and leaves a smooth, even surface after pouring.
Massage candles
Thanks to its stable combustion, this vegetable wax can be used to make massage candles with a perfectly diffused fragrance and an even texture.

Melting point and use temperature
Melt the wax at around 85-90°C to incorporate colourings and fragrances. Controlled cooling ensures a smooth surface and optimal combustion.
Integrating colourants
Powdered or liquid colourants are easily incorporated at 70-75°C. Pre-testing is recommended to ensure colour stability and fragrance compatibility.
Fragrance integration
Add 5 to 10% of your fragrances at a temperature of 75°C, then pour immediately to ensure an even and intense diffusion of the fragrance.
Using rapeseed wax for container candles
Optimum container filling
Preheat your containers to between 45 and 50°C to improve adhesion and avoid surface defects. Then pour in the wax after mixing it with the fragrance.
Choice of wicks
Use wicks suited to the diameter of the container. A wick that is too wide may produce soot or burn too quickly, while one that is too thin may create a tunnel. Tests are recommended for each fragrance/colour combination.
Cooling conditions
Allow candles to cool to room temperature (around 25°C) and wait at least 48 hours before testing combustion to ensure a stable flame and optimum diffusion.

The colour and shape of the shavings may vary depending on the harvest, but this has no impact on the final quality of the product.
