Gold metallic leaf flakes for Jesmonite® creations
Gold metallic leaf flakes are a decorative additive to incorporate into Jesmonite® to give your creations a high-end metallic effect. Inspired by the traditional gold leaf effect, they provide an intense shine.

How to use
Several methods, depending on the desired result:
- Place a few flakes at the bottom of the mould, spread them with a dry brush, then pour your mix: after demoulding, the flakes appear integrated into the surface.
- Incorporate a small amount of flakes directly into the mix before pouring, for an effect spread throughout the thickness.
- Apply them locally using a suitable binder or varnish, for targeted decorative touches.
Tip: combine different sizes or mix with pigments for an even richer, more artistic result.
Can they be used with a candle?
Metallic leaves should not come into direct contact with the wax or the flame. In practice, they are applied to the outer surface of your objects — not inside the container: they are therefore never exposed to the candle’s direct heat. So you can enjoy their decorative shine in complete safety.
