Amber glass for scented candles

While the coloured wax won’t show much through the sides of the glass, the fragrance can be kept intact thanks to the included lid, so it can be released when you want it.

Thermal properties of amber glass
Amber glass exhibits different thermal properties compared to clear glass, particularly a higher capacity to absorb thermal radiation. This characteristic leads to greater heat accumulation within the container, causing it to reach higher temperatures. This can result in more pronounced internal overheating than with clear glass, increasing the risk of glass weakening.
It is therefore not recommended to use a wick that is too powerful with this type of container, in order to limit any risk of breakage. To ensure optimal combustion, it is essential to choose a suitable wick, as indicated in the following paragraph.

You’re free to use the wicks you like, but here are the wicks we recommend for use with these candle containers:
