ECO wicks for container candles mounted on holders
ECO waxed wicks mounted on holders are designed for container candles. Their flat structure with integrated pure cotton reinforcements promotes even and constant combustion, whatever the stage of consumption of the candle. They are compatible with a wide range of formulations: paraffin waxes, vegetable waxes, natural oils, vegetable fats and their mixtures.
Lead-free and with no metal core, ECO wicks are specially designed to offer flame stability and regularity across a wide variety of formulations. Their coating ensures rapid ignition and contributes to reliable combustion.
Some ECO series wicks are now replaced by STABILO wicks.

How do I choose the size of my ECO wick?
The choice of wick size depends on the diameter of the container used, the dosage of fragrance and the presence of any colourants.
The more fragrance, colourant or dense vegetable wax a candle contains, the larger the wick size may need to be. In this case, you should choose one or two sizes larger than those shown in our table.

- Wick too small = tunnel effect or flame extinction.
- Wick too large = excessive flame, smoke or overheating of container.
- A suitable wick = melts the wax over the entire diameter with a height of 10 mm (pool).

Our advice on using ECO wicks
To install your coated wick on a stand, pour about 2 mm of liquid wax into the bottom of the container and immediately position the wick in the centre. Hold it upright for about 15 seconds until the solidified wax anchors it correctly.
A self-adhesive tablet or a special sticky wax can also be used for faster positioning without handling hot wax.
After pouring, leave about 7 mm of wick protruding from the surface of your candle.
Before each lighting, cut the wick to 5 mm to ensure a clean burn with no excess deposits. Avoid draughts and make sure that the first lighting is long enough to allow the entire wax surface to melt evenly.
For large-diameter containers, the use of several wicks is recommended to ensure even combustion across the entire surface.
