StoneRoxx natural granite granules for Jesmonite® creations
StoneRoxx natural granite granules are a decorative additive designed to be incorporated into Jesmonite® to bring an authentic mineral look, a natural texture and a genuine stone effect. They make it possible to reproduce the appearance of natural stone directly in your creations.
The granite fragments add relief, depth and a mineral result reminiscent of granite. They are perfect for making trays, pots, vases and any other decorative object with a raw, organic and architectural style.
Once the surface is sanded, the granules reveal all the richness of natural stone and deliver a high-end result. StoneRoxx thus achieve a professional result without complex techniques and with limited investment.
Dosage and use
Dosage — it depends on the desired result:
- 10% for a subtle effect
- 20 to 30% for a balanced mineral result
- 30 to 50% for a very pronounced effect
How to use:
- Prepare the Jesmonite® according to the recommended ratio.
- Add a pigment if desired.
- Incorporate the StoneRoxx into the mix, stirring gently to obtain an even distribution.
- Pour the preparation into the mould.
- After demoulding, gradually sand the surface to reveal the granite granules.
Caution: do not exceed 50% granules relative to the Jesmonite® mix in order to preserve the mechanical properties of the piece.
