Medium-grit abrasive paper for Jesmonite® creations
Medium-grit abrasive paper is the ideal accessory for perfecting the finish of your Jesmonite® creations. Sold in a set of 10, it is designed for manual sanding: it easily corrects small imperfections, softens edges and gives a smooth, even surface before applying a sealant or protective finish.
What is this abrasive paper for?
After demoulding, some creations show slight irregularities, burrs or parting-line marks. Thanks to its medium grit, this paper lets you:
- Remove small surface imperfections
- Smooth edges and corners
- Even out the finish before finer sanding steps
- Effectively prepare the surface before applying a sealant
How to use
Attach your abrasive paper to the hook-and-loop surface of a compatible 25 mm diameter block. Sand the creation using light, even pressure. Once the paper is worn, simply replace it with a new one, without changing the block.
Tip: to limit dust and achieve an even cleaner finish, wet sanding is recommended on Jesmonite® creations.
Care
Reusable and durable when properly cared for:
- Remove dust by lightly tapping the paper or rinsing it with clean water after use.
- If residue remains, clean it with a little mild soap then rinse thoroughly.
- Let it dry completely in the open air before storing (do not store it damp).
- Avoid solvents and harsh chemicals.
- Replace the paper when it shows significant signs of wear.
